Cost of Surrogacy
New York Surrogacy Center believes it is important to be transparent about costs. As such, a detailed and comprehensive breakdown of the costs of surrogacy is listed below. However, the total cost of each surrogacy arrangement will vary to some degree depending on the circumstances of the intended parents (i.e., whether donated gametes are required, which fertility clinic is selected, etc.) and the chosen surrogate (i.e., whether her insurance covers a surrogate pregnancy, how many embryo transfers are needed, whether she works and will have lost wages, etc.).

- Surrogate base compensation – $45,000+ (and higher for experienced surrogates)
- Medical & Psych Clearance Fee – $1,500

- Maternity clothes – $1,000
- Allowance – $250/month

- Uncovered medical expenses – varies based on insurance policy

- Housekeeping & Meal Preparation Service (if applicable) – varies

- Health Insurance (if needed) – $3,500-$25,000
- Other insurance (if desired) – up to $10,000
- Breast milk (if desired) – $200/week (plus equipment, supplies and shipping)
- Psychological screening (if not done by fertility clinic) – $1,000-$2,000
- Surrogate Legal Fees – $2,000-$3,500
